Background Representing the top o' the crop cherries from farms in the Mogiana growing region, this coffee carries the taste of the Brazilian countryside. Specialty lots are personally selected from the growers’ offerings with the goal of creating a proprietary blend that does the region proud. Farmers then processes the cherries—in this case via the natural/dry processing method in which the beans are hulled after the fruit dries. This induces the coffee with subtle fruitiness and intensity. This is why we will roast to a medium-medium+ level, developing sugars and creating a very drinkable and consistent cup.
We provide Roast on Order service. This means that we only roast when your order is confirmed. Not earlier. This beats store brought coffee and you can immediately tell the difference. Please note that because we roast on order and ship out the next day (24 hours after roasting), you should not immediately consume the coffee right after receiving them. Rule of thumb is to wait at least 7-10 days after roasting for optimal enjoyment. Please reference the Roasted On date on your package and add a minimal of 7 days to it before brewing.
• We will roast with 250g /1 Kg of raw green beans. Net weight after roasting will be around +/- 20% depending on roast level, etc. Do not expect 250g / 1 Kg net weight when you receive your order.
• Available in light, medium and dark roast. Personal preference is dark roast for this bean.
